I use them under my acrylic paints.

I don't have pictures since it's been two years since I had time to paint, but basically I rough sketch the water color pencils wherever I need shading according to color then I use a wet brush to put down the acrylic and blend until the shading looks right. It's easier than using layers of acrylic and blending the goopy stuff together in small pieces of a bigger painting, if I need to blend large scale I do it the usual way since using the pencils would be more hassle at that point.I don't think it was visible! Watercolor pencils i thinkI need blue, but now I have to pick... Do I use watercolor pencils, or nice Prisma Colors, or crappy random brand blue, OR the fancy top-of-the-line Blackwings.Tough choice.
