I think my reaction to a copperhead bite would be surprisingly chill compared to my manic screaming if a spider was actively biting me.

I picked the spider cuz my cousin was bit by one and she went to the hospital but is fine

Both are very over hyped with how bad they are. But probably a copperhead as anti venom is very available and also not going to be super life threatening. I don’t know as much about brown recluse as I do about copperheads and other pit vipers so I might be off. I’m just going off of what I know

Well if I'm remembering my snake stuff right copperheads have a hemotoxin and would only cause tissue damage in a more immediate vicinity and within the blood being circulated through your organs while I've seen brown recluse bites cause necrosis of the flesh in parts of the body that didn't even receive a bite.
