I'm in CA and I just got a call that three of my babies died... I have no clue which ones passed on, which is really hard on me. Please send prayers that no more are killed from the 118 degree heat in AZ...

when you have to hose off the step cause your hens took a dustbath right by it...

YEA. They do that ALL the time!! I go inside, thinking they'll stay in the trees, they come on the step, peck at the door for me, and poop all over it til I come out.

Oh yea! Most definitely...

Speaking of... I should probably go check on them. The hens have been free ranging with the chicks, so I'm gonna put 'em up-- looks like it's gonna storm soon.
