Welp. First, I found a stick that was 3 feet tall. (I am around 5-6.) So about from your knee to your head. Make sure the stick is bendable but doesn't break. Choose a strong, bendable stick, but one you are still able to bend. The fire-power comes from the stick, not the string. I carved a groove around the very bottom of the stick so the string would stay. I'm not sure what type of string I used. I used fishing wire but it broke under the tension. It is around fishing wire thickness, but stronger. I wrapped the string around the groove and tied a fishermen's knot, (google how) then wrapped the string a million times around and tied another fishermen's knot and a bunch of regular knots. Dat string ain't goin' nowhere. XD The top is a little trickier. bend the stick a little, (so it 'bows') and wrap the sting around the top a BILLION times. Tie a fishermen's knot and many many regular knots. Tada! fin. To make an arrow, find the straightest stick you can find. Cut a notch in one end of the stick. (to help fire it.) Do a slight point to it, but not enough to hurt people. You can even skip this step. PLEASE do not make me regret posting this and PLEASE use this responsibly! DO NOT fire at people or animals. Fire at a target or somewhere were NOBODY WILL NOT GET HURT. ( I fire into the side of a big round hay bale. Perfect target.) Where long sleeves or an arm guard, because the string will skin your arm when you fire. Experiment with different types and thicknesses of sticks and types of string until you get a good bow.

Clear as mud?!?!

Haha!! Sounds cool though... I've always wanted a bow and arrow-- I can just see myself galloping on my horse across the stretch of land we have, and firing away at deer, but I'm not that coordinated in riding or archery. :P

I just got a parakeet!!!!

He is ADORABLE! But he is so terribly scared! He didn't have much interaction with people at the store. Poor baby.
