RIP, Crumpet. The definition of "Crumpet" is an unsweetened english pastry. MY definition of Crumpet is the sweetest chicken that could ever have lived.

Prayers for my chicken would be appreciated. Crumpet is not acting normal and won't move. She is about 2 years old. I have no idea what is the matter with her.

Yeah, that's what I always think of. :/ I've had two rabbits that have died, two that have run away, one chicken that has died, aaaand my brother's fish died, but I wasn't really close with that fish. XD
BUT on a good note-- I cleaned out my much-needed-to-be-cleaned-out chicken coop today!! My hens LOVE the new shavings... Pippy laid down right away and started to dustbathe. XD

I recently lost my rooster Oreo. And I am going to have to feel the sadness 42 more times..

Encouraging is good. I've had time to think and pray and I feel better. Still sad. But better.

Hatching is just around the corner, right?
No one will ever replace her, but maybe some of those will help sooth the hurt.
