Yes there is a difference...they are both marsupials but that's about it....possum's actually live in Australia and opossums live in the U.S. I would give you pictures but....I'd freak out if I looked up "opossum" on google...XD

Yeah ok. We have many types of possum down here in Australia and I didn't know if the US had possums as well as Opossums.
Opossums sure are freaky!!!
