Hey, I was just thinking of something about your integration process that you are worried about. If you move both groups into the Juni coop at the same time, they will both have to get adjusted to new surroundings, and in fact, your chicks will have the advantage of one more chick. I think it will go very well if you do that. How is the Juni coop coming along?Yea!!! Hey everyone!!! I'm back. I was helping my Dad.
Quote: Yea! That's EXACTLY what I was thinking. And it might even work, too, since tomorrow Hopey is turning 1 month, Omelette 7 weeks, and Pip and Hazy 6 weeks!! Yea, and also Hedwig isn't aggressive, but she thinks she's at the top of the pecking order in the brooder. XD You should see her-- when the chicks start flying around she flies around, then stretches her neck up to their head, and pecks. XD It's a very small peck and Ommy and Pip and Hazey hardly feel it. XD

also funny! What is it about BRs--I thought they were very calm!Barred rock chicks are like that! When we took home Louise and Midge (they were 2 weeks older than the other chicks) Henny flew into their brooder and started chest bumping them! It was so funny!
