Darcy will be 8 weeks on Monday, Yeah, what is his breed? It varies A LOT on age- from 3 days to 3 months to longer. After 6 months I would REALLY begin to worry.
 
I have been browsing the site and people eat their chickens after they quit laying eggs! I couldn't do that. They are family :( just saying... Lol
 
Some do that, some don't. I don't, I think of them as pets. Some think of them as egg producers, or meat producers, or both. But you are not alone in thinking that is sad.

I couldn't! At the very worst, if I really needed to get rid of them, I'd give them to people who didn't care and just want pets. (There is people like that.) BUT I will most likely keep them.
 
HEY GUYS GUESS WHAT! My chicks are beginning to hatch!!!! They're four days late!!!!!!!!! I was so worried but I officially have one chick and hopefully other's will hatch too but it's ok if i just have one!

That is so exciting!!!!!!!! You'll have to update us and post some pictures!!!!
 
I am so tired! I only got 5 hours of sleep on the campout. -_- But it was still fun! (Even though it was thundering/lightening/raining/windy the whole time! Good camping experience to have.)
