Hi, the chick that must have pipped through a blood vessel is now out of the egg, but not looking too good, is there anything I can do to help it?

any ideas would be appreciated. Its quite listless and still breathing moving its feet occasionally. another chick that hatched at the same time is up and moving.

I know rationally that I am going to lose one here and there, but if there is something I can do for the little guy, I would like to try.
thanks
Lynn

There really isn't much that you can do. Maybe give him some Poly Vi-Sol (with no Iron). Just leave him in the bator. I have had week ones and they pulled through.

If he just hatched he might just be tired from all the hatching. Give him time and he might surpise you.
