Thanks! Yes. That tray will be their enclosed house. They will be free ranging quite a bit during the day.

How did you change the plans?

We changed the dimensions and made it bigger. We also put it together differently. We didn’t notch the wood. You can tell from the picture that our nesting box is very different. I didn’t like the idea of stacked nesting boxes. We are also going to be doing the siding differently.

We mainly used those designs, because we liked the overall shape, but we have really been changing it to meet our needs. The designs were laid out easy for us to see how it was framed up. I haven’t picked them up again since finishing the framing.

We have all the bracing on the rafters now! The roof is about to go up! The door is just wedged in there for sizing, but I took it out yesterday and began staining it to look like red cedar.
