Right now I am shipping about 500lb a year with just donations.

There are many stores in the markets that buy clothes like that and sell them but currently I have a great supply just from my BYC friends.

my mother-inlaw does great with sheets over there

there isn't a store in the province that sells such items

i can testify that 1 LBC box will hold a big ol bunch of them if you pack them in tight

I live in Japan with, sadly, almost no job security. I ALWAYS have the first week of May off and random bits of August. Any other vacation really depends job to job with it mostly being long weekends.

Anyways, I would love to keep an eye on this thread. There are tons of used clothing stores that sell clothes by the gram/bag I can get before hand. Sadly, anything else is just too dang expensive here. If you are ever planning a trip I am free for, COUNT ME IN!... As long as you don't mind me not meeting you in LAX ^^;; I don't think my Japanese will be any help but I do have extensive experience with dealing with language barriers and am VERY good at pantomime.

I also have no objection to bringing/donating/reading books for kids. It's basically my job anyways!
