Our girls are growing! And three of them are not girls. <sad face> But here's an update!

What a beautiful flock! That first EE, Glynnis, looks just like my favorite hen- the late great Gerald. She was super affectionate and always funny. I'm hoping my one of my 4 week old EE chicks turns out at least a bit like her.
THose flower hens really are gorgeous! This is why I need more land. I keep finding breeds I want to raise!

Thank you very much! Coraline and Glynnis are the two top birds, followed by the two speckled Sussex. They all were brought home together and hang together. The 10 SFHs hang in their own group too. The experience of hatching the 8 eggs was SO COOL I really want to do it again, but even after we eat the 3 cockerels, we will be 2 over our max allowed by city ordinance, so we really can't. I feel the same way! I'd love a flock of all Polish! Gerald, huh? Did you think she was a boy?
