The chickens are in charge!

I am a widow, with a flock of 50 chickens that are a mix of Polish, miliflor, Road Island Reds, Dominic's, Danish leghorn, and Americana. I also have African geese and one India blue peacock(the last of a flock). I was left with the birds when my husband died a few years ago. I had, and still haven't, much of a clue about raising chickens. I bought a few books, got some advice at the feed store and pretty much am stumbling along. Did I mention I'm allergic to feathers? It just adds to the fun! LOL I found out about this site when my daughter sent me a link on how to make chicken diapers. Her 14 year old duck that lives here was attacked by chickens, and she wants me to move her inside. I have her in a 6 foot cage right now. I don't think it's gonna happen! LOL

There is a forum "show us your house ducks." Just as there is a forum for "People with house chickens." Many people do make house pets out of them for whatever reason.
