The Chickens are in the mail

Stubs was not sent. Ozarks chickens were "guaranteed delivery" overnight. I wanted to send them first.Stubs delivery was going to be a 2 day ordeal. After everything that has happened....there is NO way I can put that little guy in a box...and send him blindly to the unknown. Im sorry Peeps....I jsut cant. This has been WAY too stressfull!!

I just want to wish you luck. I went through the same thing yesterday! It is VERY stressful. I bought some chickens from a fellow byc'er. She mailed them to me on tues and they were supposed to be to me yesterday morning. Due to her quick thinking she was able to talk to my post offices and just aggrivate them (in a good way) to find my chickens. They had been lost and put on the wrong truck to the wrong city! Thank God they came in this morning at 715am and they were ok. So just keep calling everyone you can...they CAN help they just have to be made too. I'll be crossing my fingers for you cause the feeling is oh so close to my heart. The post office must be having issues or something!

It's astounding that millions of letters get where they're going, but a great big box with live animals just gets lost constantly. What a bunch of morons!

CHICKENS HAVE BEEN FOUND. THEY ARE FINE AND ARE BEING GIVEN WATER!!!!!!! THEY WILL BE HERE IN THE MORNING. HAVE NO IDEA WHERE THEY WERE AS THE POST OFFICE, IN SPRINGFIELD, JUST CALLED AND WE WERE ASLEEP SO NOT CLEAR HEADED ENOUGH TO ASK QUESTIONS OUTSIDE OF LOOK AT THEM AND HOW ARE THEY AND PLEASE GIVE THEM WATER!!!

Thank goodness they are fine but my lesson in this is that I will never send a chicken in a box and through the mail - anywhere!!! Geez, I don't even know your chickens and I have been worried for days!!! Poor little things!!!
