Ok, Im going to make a short story longer. lol We have been trying to get silkie chicks for WEEKS! We've been trying to get a hold of this feed store that was supposed to get chicks the past 3 weeks but they never came in! After being dicouraged this past Wednesday a twinkle of hope fluttered inside me when we called a different feed store and said they would order some silkies for us!
Then that hope was compleatly killed when they said the chicks wouldnt be in untill the third week of APRIL!
Then another twinkle of hope fluttered in me when the other feed store said they would have an order of silkies coming in on friday.
I was so excited when we called this morning (for the third time) and found they had silkies!!! We rushed to the feed store to find they did have silkies! (but no blue) so we grabbed 3 buff looking ones and a multi colored one! Next week I'll be getting some blue and splash silkies! woopie!
The little chicks seem to be doing fine except for the little multi-colored one (I'v named Hope). She seems lethargic but after we give her a couple of drops of sugar water she seems to perk up. Keep her in your prayers! I'll try to get pics ASAP!
