I got the call at 7am this morning, been awake since 5am waiting. I picked up the chicks and since I heard so much peeping I didn't look in the box. When I got home found one squished in the corner and cold, alive. I gave her some sugar water and she drank it and she's under the lamp but taking open breaths so don't have much hope for her. They are red sexlinks and got 26 but hate when a chick dies. Maybe I should have checked at the po on her but not sure if the travel was not good for her. Oh well such is life. The others are thriving drinking some sugar water and loving the heat lamp.

just dont give up on her and keep doing what your doing

She didn't make it. I held her in my arms, kept her warm. She would look at me and at least she felt loved for a few minutes while she left this world. The other babies are doing great. love those cinnamon queens.
