Thankyou for the compliment! The plans kinda changed as we built the run. It is 8' deep instead of 6'....so it's flush with the front of the coop, but extends about 2' past the back of the coop. We also went with 3 cross beams and the rafters are every 4'. This made the run so much bigger and plenty of room for the 13 chickens we have! I hope this helps!
