They are doing a fecal and deworming him. They are also going to give him some subcutaneaous fluids because he had diarrhoea again last night. They gave me some food which they say is better for him, so we shall see if this helps.... oh and he is too young for his eyes to be tested so we will have to wait and see on that one

Argh! I took a super cute video of the little guy on my phone. I managed to upload it to my facebook, but facebook keeps giving me an invalid embed code. And my phone randomly decided that it was an unsupported file format and auto-deleted it! So now my only copy is on facebook and I can't even show it to you

Anyway, Samson is doing fabulously! I have put him on a new eating schedule that he is adjusting well to. I give him a bottle in the morning before I go to work, a bottle in the evening before bed, and a saucer full of formula and Science Diet wet kitten food to get him through the day while we are gone. Yesterday was our first day on this system. He has become quite the piggie! If you can see the video there are several really great shots of his belly. He is drinking 4 Tb in the morning, 4 Tb at night, and 3 Tb with a 1/2 can of wet food during the day. Piggie! And he would have drank more this morning if there was more in the bottle. Little guy looks like he will pop at any second.

My only remaining concern is his potty habits. Since I am gone all day, I can't really tell if he is going potty on his own. I don't think he is. But then again, when I do stimulate him, he barely goes at all. And even then it's just pee. I stimulate him over the litter box, but he doesn't seem to realize that he is going potty and should stop wiggling and go lol. Oi. Well I guess he will figure it out eventually.

So glad that he's doing well. After what he's been through, he might just not have any poo yet. Give him time, it WILL come.
