Anyway. They came and gave me a misdemeanor today of all things. All my chickens are now gone.

I didn't catch that part in the thread. Did see she has autism and a service dog but nothing about chickens being theory animals.
She happen to have that on paper from a therapist? Before hand? If not good luck with a lawsuit.

Not a fan of people using excuses like "they're my theory animals" after the fact of breaking laws/ ordinances/ codes and getting caught.

We kept 2 as housepets, hidden.

And moved a few of our favorites to a family member's house. Supposedly there's a group lobbying for this town to allow chickens again so if that happens I can just bring them home. Like I said literally everyone has them, it's just the issue with the neighbors that has caused this.

They had best dot their I's and cross their T's though. They made me get rid of my babies..2 had to be put down. They had no where else to go but here. And I will make them suffer for that. They've made me suffer for 2 years. I left them alone. But this is the last straw. They will have cops, fire department, everything, just like they've done to me for 2 years.

Take a breath, I would suggest do nothing. I have been in a feud with a neighbor for two years, it has cost money in lawyers and fences but more than that it has caused angst. If you keep up the fight you keep up the angst and the bully wins. I have recently decided to forgive my neighbor, and he is a serious man baby. Now that does not mean the fence comes down and I we all sing cumb bye ya but it means I let it go in my head and heart. I do not care what brought it where it is but it is over for me. He can rant and rave and never let it go but I forgive him and do not care. There is so much power in this, vs giving him the power to bug me.

Just breathe, try and let it go and do not let the negativity infect you, its the neighbors problem not yours.

Here is boss, who is here still as a house pet and spook, the frizzle serama who also stayed as a housepet. They are small enough to be OK in a cage part time. And they get along fine before anyone asks. My boyfriends pride and joy is spook and boss is my baby..
