The clutch is being sat on!!!!

Well, against my better judgement this time of year (COLD) I decided to allow our muscovies to keep some eggs. 13 eggs later (12 now, I removed an odd one) she's finally been caught SITTING on them. We thought it was the other hen building a clutch, cuse she was protective, but unless they are sharing duties I guess it's Spotty & not Ducky.

So exciting! No idea if it'll be successful hatch or not, but we shall see.

Cool what color, post a pic. i dont see why it wouldnt be succesful if you have a breeding aged drake with them they are great mothers.

I know they're breeding age cause 2 of their eggs got put in the bator (we thought they were chicken eggs ha ha) and they are growing beautifully!!

Browns/whites/spots/some green. 2 drakes & 2 hens, we got them free off craigslist last summer.
