I have 2 pullets. 3 weeks old tomorrow. I love them, and they still need names. It’s my first time owning this breed.

This picture was taken the day I got them, so they were 3 days in this pic. They are the 2 on the outside with my surprise BLRW in the middle. I love this picture.

Maxwell has matured into a handsome rooster! His wing set in the photo is not parallel to the ground but acceptable. Wonderful feather edging.

You should have some lovely chicks in your future. He should improve chicks from Lucy for color and silhouette. And chicks from Trix will have a nicer wing set and structure.

Here is a hen with proper wing edging. When her wing is folded next to her sides, the white edges make the black on her feathers disappear to the viewer. These are described as knife edges.
Notice her comb and wattles are bright red and the texture is like fine sand.
