It definitely has a comb. Looks to be a rose comb which is what a Wyandotte should have.View attachment 1559205 View attachment 1559206 View attachment 1559207 I have 3 RIR chicks then I have one who I thought was a Golden Laced Wyandotte, but now I'm not so sure, bc she doesn't have a Comb, I thought it would come on as she got older but no nothing, I think the chicks are 9 weeks ( I lost trace a while ago lol) so did I just get the breed wrong? Is something wrong with her? Will it grow later in her life?

Thank you, when I got her I was told that she was a barred rock, and then she never got the black and white stripes so, I didn't know if it was like a deformity in chicks. It definitely has a comb. Looks to be a rose comb which is what a Wyandotte should have.
Rose and pea combs take far longer to develop than the single combs. The pea comb in particular will never get huge like a single comb can. To those unfamiliar with these types of combs, it can seem like they don't have a comb for a long time.Thank you, when I got her I was told that she was a barred rock, and then she never got the black and white stripes so, I didn't know if it was like a deformity in chicks.
