The Cone of Shame

My poor cat "Bug" had a large polyp growing in her ear. Nasty, dirty, bloody, stinking mess. Had surgery today. They said it was bigger, deeper, and more of a problem than they expected; had to cut the ear halfway off to get at it. On top of that she just about bit off her tongue coming out of anesthesia.
Just thought I'd share a pix of one poor cat. Out of her mind on more opiates than I can take, and terrified of the cone.

she'll have a scar. she's going to make you wear the cone of shame when the drugs wear off and she sees only one of you.
I'd purchase plenty of tuna now.

I'm kinda glad I have 4 days of narcotics to try and keep her sedated.

I couldn't get her small size cone on her head. Had to go with the big cat one from another cat emergency, last year.
