So we hatched and bought in March, and it was too cold for the babies out there anyway, but my spouse is a terrible procrastinator. We finally finished the run last weekend, the coop has been completed (except for nest boxes) for quite a few weeks.

The 4 amigos...Lucy, Benny with Tiny and Cass in the back.

Benny....our "chipmunk" striped hatchling.

Lucy--probably some mix of Buff Orpington and maybe something else...she has a few really dark feathers on her other wing. She was our 2nd hatchling. The third turned out to be a rooster, so he found a good home elsewhere.

Cass and Tiny--the only two hens of the 6 Bantams that we bought.

The run is surrounded in buried hardware cloth, and covered in poultry netting (1 inch). It's large, about 20-25 feet long and close to that in width at it's widest point.

Back. The window of course has hardware cloth as do the other ventilation areas. But it also is clear with triple wall polycarbonate inset from greenhouse leftovers. As you can see, the base is surrounded by buried hardware cloth as well so they can get in underneath. My oldest daughter is in the process of painting it with original artwork.

Love the paint job!! Do you have any pictures of the inside?

I don't yet...My hubby hasn't put the nest boxes and he wants to change the roost...when we get that done, I'll post more pics!
