As an offshoot to another discussion going on around here:

    • what does a dozen eggs cost from a grocery store in your area?
    • what do or would you sell your eggs for?
    • do you manage to turn a profit?
    • where are you located?

    1. It is very variable. The cheapest here are around £1/doz. and the most expensive (fancy colour shells and packaging but still industrially produced and shipped all over the country) are about £5.
    2. I sell mine for £3/doz.
    3. Yes, if I don't count my time... So it might be more accurate to say that I cover my costs +some, rather than that I make a profit.
