The Council of Quilins

They weren't that scary. :p And certainly not as cliquish as some of the new ones. I'd say the Chatterbox Chooks Club is the closest to the Pullets, next to COY.

Why, thank you! (I co-started Chatterbox Chooks)
Do you think the title contributes to the non-clique-ish-ness/Pullet similarities? "the Chatterbox Chooks Club" versus "Earlybird and Chickencrazy's chat thread"? ( that was the first title idea.)  I'm just curious why it is that way, since "Crazy Pullets-type thread" was never included in the blueprints (although non-clique-ish chat thread was to an extent) . In fact, I didn't want the thread to be called the Crazy Chooks Club, because people might think we were trying to restart the crazy pullets, and as a locked thread,  that is against the rules, not to mention the older GJF members, some of whom might dislike it or have mixed feelings about a crazy pullets restart. So to simplify things, it's the Chatterbox Chooks. (plus I like that title better)

Yes, the title does have a lot to do with the thread. There have been so many chat threads with the member's names, it gives the feeling the thread is only for those who know or want to know the creator[or co-creator(s)]. Hence the cliquish-ness. Whereas having something neutral that sort of refers to chickens, but sounds friendly and not boring, invites people to join. The only reason I haven't done so myself is that that BOE takes up most of my posts and stuff outside BYC + life prevents it. The similarities are there because that thread(and title) form works, which was proved by the pullet's 4000 page success. If course, you have to have enough chatting to attract other members, too. But if anything, the title helps do that.
It's actually good that you didn't call it the Crazy Chooks Club though, as that would seem like a copy of the Crazy Chickens thread(an old thread created to merge both Crazy 'Pullets' and 'Cockerals'.)
