I'm good! I haven't ridden for awhile because of thanksgiving break. I can't wait for my lesson tuesday! At least we have no snow where we live, when it does snow though I love it.

We actually lost the snow for now, but my instructor's been out of town this weekend and it's supposed to snow this week.

Darn, snow can be a pain!

I agree snow can be a pain. And yes I'm into dressage, why? I'm an intermediate rider, not an experienced dressage rider; sorry if I gave you that impression!

No, that's fine!

I just was wondering. I'm just getting into English, as you know; I mean, I'm still working on sitting trot. Posting is so much easier...

Anyway... I'm going to be mainly focusing on jumping (Not sure if I'll go for stadium or cross country), but I certainly will try dressage and see which I prefer.

Cool. :cool I'm still working on my sitting trot also, I can sit the trot - hold on I will finish my reply in a minute!

Ok, I'm back. Yes, I'm working on my sitting trot also and am succeeding! Boomer the horse that I ride softens SO easy, you just ask lightly (you have to be light with the aids) and he'll do it. I appreciate that and don't realize what a luxury it is until I'm on another horse. I'm getting there on trot poles and two point. Learning that I'm in total control of the moving train under me has been a new revelation. Also softening at a canter is a dream!! The best moments so far has been softening at a canter then asking for a WALK. He used his haunches and stopped! Whew! That was so nice.
