The differance between chinese and "grey type" geese goslings

I am sure you can't tell yet but chinese geese have smooth necks while toulouse & most other types have deep ridges in the neck feathering.. It's a Greylag trait & from what i have read and heard, most breeds of geese today were derived from the Greylags but Chinese geese were developed from the Swan Goose.

Here is some pics of them out grazing.

i think if you compare the upper beak edge of the white ones, the chinese will have a different kind of shape there, with little ridges.... in the second picture, the back one on the left is a chinese. and I think the front one in the first picture. the toulouse are the grey ones, and the embden are the other ones.

good link. I got some clarity on the guy I got them from. He has white and brown chinese and embden. So the grey are either embded or crosses of chinese and embden.
