I had a waterer nipple system that I made using a water keg. I put a valve on the keg to shut of the water at times and clean the keg. About a week ago I turned it off and cleaned the keg as usual but forgot to turn the water back on. I've gotten so used to not worrying about their water I didn't realize it for three days. I went out each day and collected eggs and still didn't notice. By the third day they were pretty much attacking me when I went into the pen and then I realized what I had done. I felt terrible. I went from getting 10 to 12 eggs a day to none. I haven't gotten an egg in four days.
I've since changed to an self filling system without a valve.
Does anyone have any idea how long they are going to stay mad at me?
