The Dragon Riders

"Can't. You should probably study about the royals." She said. "I would if I could, but I can't. It's just another stupid rule about being a queen... And, along with that, I have to marry someone I don't even love. I don't even know the guy!"

Aria walked outside her room and looked around. Where was everyone? They had been gone for two days almost. She dropped the thought, there were more important things right now. She walked out of her house and went to her farm.

"Well, yeah it sucks being royal then." Kyle sighed. "We should get going now...It's already been 2 hours."

She sighed. "Fine. But I'm leaving to town again tomorrow morning around six. Don't dress like a knight please. I like to keep my identity hidden from the towns people." She smiled as she carried chip back to cocoa. Cocoa didnt seem to mind the baby dragon. "And also address me as Julie, not princess Julia, please." She put chip in her satchel.

"Got it. I'll escort you back to the palace, Julie." He said remembering not to say Julia.

Aria went to the cows and milked them into a bucket. She showed Starflight the milk bucket. The baby dragon groaned in disgust and turned it's head away. "Alright, alright, I'll find something else..." Aria grabbed Starflight again and wrapped her up in a blanket and then headed for the meat shop.

"Thank you." She said as she jumped up on cocoa. She hung her bow over her chest and shoulder, along with her arrows over one shoulder and her daggers in her belt at her thigh. "C'mon, lets go." She checked the satchel to make sure it was tied tightly to the horse.

After a while they both finally arrived at the palace. Kyle brought Julie to the throne room where the king was. "What took you so long?" The king asked Kyle hoping that he made the right decision on choosing him as the new knight. Kyle gulped a little unsure of what to say.
