Julia snuck up to her room and changed from her princess dress and changed to her short light maroon, pink and white dress with her purple white boots and elbow length white gloves. She braided her black hair to the side, tied by a maroon ribbon. She ran down the stone steps and to the front of the castle. The gaurd standing there smiled. "Goodmornin' princess. Oops, I mean Julie." He was the only one that knew of her secret and always covered for her when she was gone. "Have a good day in town, mis." Julie smiled. "I will, and thanks again." She said and ran outside to the horse stables were all the knights kept their horses. She grabbed her bow and arrows and her daggers. She put the bow on her back, the string coming across her chest. The arrow holder strapped over the other shoulder an the daggers were strapped to her side.

Julie jumped on her chestnut colored horse named chocolate, or cocoa as she called him, and left the stables in free gallop.

Ten minutes later, she rode into the town, her black braided hair hitting against her lower back. She jumped off her horse near a well and fished out the bucket full of water. She let the horse drink its fill. She smiled as rubbed his snout. She rubbed her face against his soft fur, smiling. "Good boy, cocoa."

A weird shining light caught Julie's eye. She tied cocoa to a low tree branch, turned and peeked through the trees. She followed the strange red glow and came to very weird looking egg. It seemed to radiate a lava colored light, causing a beautiful fiery reflection across the tree branches. She glanced around to see if there was a mother. There wasnt. She bent down next to it on her knees. It was way to large to be a bird, but it wasn't any type of animal she could identify, it wasnt any egg she'd ever seen before.

This is what the kind of egg looks like:
400

It was really big. She had to carry it in two arms like a baby, though it wasn't quite as big or as heavy as a baby. It wasnt light though. She made sure that her daggers wouldn't hurt the egg as she carried it back to her horse. She put the lava like egg into a satchel that hung on one side of the horse. She made sure that it was safe and that the satchel wouldn't fall off while she was riding.

Kyle had been practicing sword fighting with his dad the past few weeks NONSTOP which made his arms sore. It was too painful and he just couldnt practice anymore. "Why do I have to practice so much anyway?! I already know how to sword fight dad, You've been teaching me for years. But pushing it!? " Kyle demanded to know. His father sat in the chair next to the fire place in the living room. "Son, your about to turn 18, and when that happens... I'm going to sign you up for the princess protection auditions! The king said she's going to get married and when that happens he'll need a young, strong knight to keep watch over her." Kyle stared at his dad, thinking if this would be good or bad for him. "I'm going to my room..." He left the living room. He just needed some time to think. How long would he have to watch over a princess anyway? His whole life perhaps...?
