The Dragon Riders

Ryan rode back to the castle and told her parents everything. "I'm sorry your majesties... she's gone." He said with a small laugh.

Justin woke up and jolted backwards hitting his head on a piece of wood when he saw the sleeping dragon in front of his eyes. "Oh, it's you." He said. Then, an idea struck him. He vastly took out his notebook and started sketching starflight.

The next morning, Julie woke up very early. She decided, she couldn't keep cocoa with her. A tear slide down her cheek as she said goodbye to him. "Go on boy." She said as she rubbed his muzzle. She slapped his butt and he went galloping back to the castle. "Alright chip. It's just me and you. Sunset has to stay here. But I'll be able to call her over to me whenever I want." She said as she climbed up onto chips back. She grabbed a small piece of paper that she had with her and wrote a note to Rachel telling her that she was leaving and that she'd visit soon. Then, she tied to note to sunsets foot and sent her off with the note to Rachel.

Aria woke up in the morning and noticed something was wrong with the noise everywhere. She peeked out her window and saw guards everywhere. She ran outside and into the barn. She closed the door and locked it. Starflight was still there thank goodness. She looked at Justin who was giving starflight a piece of meat. "What's going on!?" She asked worried. "I heard the princess ran away and the guards are searching everywhere until they find her." Justin replied holding the meat in front of starflight as she snorted in disgust. "We have to get out of here for the day. They might find her." Aria hopped on top of Starflight. "Okay, let's try this... Nice and easy just how we practiced." She wrapped her hands around starflight getting a good grip so she wouldn't fall off. Justin opened the back barn door. Starflight bolted out like a flash of lightning and into the woods dodging trees. "Woah! Slow down!" Aria yelled feeling like she was about to fall off.

Chip an Julie shot into the air, the wind rushing across her face. She smiled. She finally felt free. She had never felt that way before, but loved te feeling. Chip dodged through the trees, cutting through the wind like a knife.

Rachel heard wings flapping behind her and turned around. She and kitty were at the lake. Sunset came flying through the trees. She noticed the note on her foot and untied it. She opened the note and read it. Her eyes widened. She read it again to see if she had read it right. She had. Julie had run away.
