My ducks have eaten several frogs or toads.  The poor critters.

That makes me sad. I like our tiny tree frogs. I hope our ducks aren't eating them and I'm just not seeing it. I've never seen then go after a garter snake, either. We don't have many of those, but I see them off and on.

That would explain why I haven't seen the toads. Those crazy ducks can catch a fly in midair so I guess my toadies didn't stand a chance. The ducks have claimed the pond for themselves.

On the other hand there were hardly any stink bugs on the raspberries.

After the duck squad has patrolled, the yard is completely devoid of alien life.

A friend brought over a box of 1000 crickets last week..... Lasted approximately.01 seconds!

My ducks and chickens will not eat toads, frogs yes but the toads we have made my dachshund foam at the mouth the excrete some kind of nasty tasting stuff

Maybe just chasing them out of the pond drove them away. I love hearing them in the spring.
