Oh, wow. He is scary. I don't get it. You look at a sweet little duckling but he's a terror. It will be scary when he gets his full dose of hormones. Yikes. The thing about Frank is that he was aggressive from the get-go. The first time I brought him and the his brother outside with me to feed the adults at 2-3 wks old, he showed signs of aggression. The other ducks of course rushed at them a little, nothing serious, but my Cayuga girl was a little bolder, and before I could stop her, she bit little Frank on the back of his neck and pinned him. Within a second, Frank rolled out of her grasp, bit her on the neck and then latched on to her tail as she tried to run away, and ended up dragging him across the pen because he would not let go. And he was just a 3wk old duck! I introduced him to the adults through a chicken wire fence for two weeks. He still picks on several of the ducks now, he tore up the back of my cayuga's neck when they got stuck in the pool, and he makes it his personal mission to kill the two ducklings I have whenever I bring them out to the pen with me. Frank is barely 8wks old! I am worried how bad he will get when the REAL hormones kick in... :/
