The Duck Thread

Tub time in lukewarm water is about the best I have been able to do to get the duck to rest their legs.

Have you tried a tiny bit of T-Relief ointment on the leg?

We were soaking his foot in Epsom salts and he wouldn't relax till he'd been in for maybe 15 min. He's too worried about getting out to his buddies.
Where would I find T-relief ointment? What is it?

That's good! Oh wow that's a lot. I have been thinking on starting a flock of Muscovys.
Probably a flock of 10 to 12. What type of setup do you have for the Muscovys?
I must say the Muscovies are much more enjoyable than my other ducks. I love them all but the Scovies are my favorites. I have the same set up for everyone except I have perches available for the Scovies. All free range during the day and are locked up tight at night except for Bob. He's top drake and he prefers to stay out at night. I prefer it as well, lol.

My Scovies seem to love the water more than the other ducks. Everything I read before getting them said they only needed a small swimming pool. That may be true but they spend way more time in it than the others.

I highly recommend getting some Muscovy

Okay, hope nothing bad happens to Bob. I bet they love the water!
I hope to get some! I might have to wait a few years though.
Thanks for the information.

I can't imagine what would happen if I let mine in the car! I can't hardly pick them up! It would surely be a "duck rodeo" if I tried! LOL

By the way...Welcome to BYC!

Thank you very much. Weve had Lucky since he was two days old so he's used to going places and doing all kinds of fun stuff ducks don't usually get to do... He as well as all our baby's are very much loved and taken care of.
