The guy at a tractor supply said they came in a box marked "Assorted" so even they don't know

Okay I dont think they've eaten anything just drank a bunch. The snowy mallard is adorable. Really wish I had gotten both.
Did they tell you ahead of time they were only sending 1? Have you tried wiggling you finger where the food is? they have to be taught.

Yeah I've wiggled and put some on paper towel. I tried making wetter stuff and dipping beak. Spread a little on beak too. Would it be okay to put a chick in. The last time I got them I had them in the brooder with chicks right after they got here while I got them set up and I know they ate. This time I put them separate right away. And no it said two of them on shipping list and on box. The box looked like it had been looked in a lot and the mallard I did get kept pushing out so I'm thinking the other one might have escaped maybe.

I have brooded chicks n ducks together...That being said, you have to watch that the ducks don't trample the chicks. Ducks are bigger and grow much faster. If you just wanted to put a few in to show the ducks what's up with supervision I don't see why you couldn't do that.
