Okay I can do that. Last question. Should I leave him in house for a while yet? Untill its all healed up? I have I diaper ordered for him so he can be inside easier and my hubby and dogs are good with him so he can stay. Or after a week or two do I let him back out to start interacting with the flock again?

I'd keep him inside for a bit just because it's really tender and I figure too much action is a bad thing. He might always be slow at moving around, but no harm in letting him go out there at least for a while.

All wrapped up! Hubby showed up and helped. I'm shaking but he's all taken care of. At least he'll be able to start learning how to get around. Luckily he has a pretty good bit of leg left to work with.

Thanks guys!! He can almost walk normally! Going to keep him locked up for a couple days so he doesn't agitate it but he can use the stump to move pretty well!!!
