Here's my pekins! Only a couple months old (bought them end of March '13, two different ages. Two laying down are a few weeks younger.) I had a baby Rouen that was only a few weeks old that I was really excited about, but my dad's girlfriend's dog killed it when they weren't watching her and left the coop open.

Live and Learn! Here's my babies! (And sorry about the haze. My iPhone still has the wrapping over the back that I haven't taken off yet.)

Found a new favorite for my ducks.

So we have not been using our swimming pool of late, so we drained it. But then the rain filled it up another 4 inches and the frogs took full advantage of this. Next thing we knew we had squillions of little tadpoles swimming about. So what do we do with them all.....DUCKS!!!
We collected them all up and put most into the frog pond ( it's where to frogs usually lay their eggs ) but we did keep and few. These
( unlucky ) chosen tadpoles where put into the ducks tub and boy did the ducks have a fun time!

The tadpoles ready for the feast.lol.

The girls couldn't even wait till the tub filled up before they got in.

They LOVED the tadpoles!

Heads under the water almost the whole time.

Hi, I'm not having much luck in the emergency section so I'll ask here. My duck has bumblefoot but I can't find the pus or the kernel. The scabs keep turning black. I'm giving her Baytril 100mg once a day orally, I'm also using triple anti-biotic and I dabbed a little koi fish ulcer medication on it to as suggested by one website. Also, how can you tell if she has ringworm? Me and some of my friends seem to have contracted it and they are blaming the duck. I want to defend her if possible.

http://ezinearticles.com/?Things-You-Have-to-Avoid---There-Might-Be-a-Ringworm-Spread!&id=4601436 this may help you with your friends. I'm still looking to see if it can be caught from a duck or even if a duck can get it. but seems if your not finding any pus or kernel then it must not be bumble. try soaking her foot in some Epsom salt water 2 cups to 1 gallon of warm water for 5-10 min 2X a day but don't let her drink the water since ES acts as a laxative. but it is awesome with inflammation. Try to keep her on as clean of bedding as possible till the wound heals over.

I don't see any reference to Tinea in either of my reference books - The Ultimate Pet Duck Guidebook or Storey's Guide to raising ducks. By the way, borax is a great antifungal for non-living surfaces, so adding that to the laundry, and wiping down the bath and shower area with a borax solution will help quite a bit with its control in the human environment. Borax works better than bleach for fungal spores, in my experience.

I am with Miss Lydia on the Epsom salts. I use compresses. Epsom salts is good for inflammation and is said to help draw out toxins, so as much of that treatment as both of you can stand is what I would try.
