They are gorgeous and I'd say your right they are mixes. I love the coloring on the one you think maybe saxony mix.I had these two few days back, however seller says their breed is 'duck'. Please any idea of breed?

Thank you Miss Lydia. That's been my suspicion all along, with the exception of my Muscovy and the Pekin, I think that all the other ducks I'm keeping are likely from mixed parentage. Over here people who keep ducks are not so particular about breeds, it's just what will give them eggs and meat. I'm hoping to at least start something new with what I have and see how they all turn out.

I almost burst out in laughter when she responded "their breed is duck, that's what I'm selling". But all the same I'm gradually gathering together some lovely birds.
