Yes, we live in a small town but crime is every where too many drugs and people willing to do just about anything for money so they can get the illegal drugs, so we keep guns for protection not only for our flock but also for us. Hopefully God willing we will never have to use them for either.

Well my Abby was cleaning her back today and holding her head normal so she seems to be doing better each day!! Yay!! But she still hasn't eatin I don't know how to fix that one....

She ate and drank on her own finally!!!!!! I think my male was trying to mate with her or hurt her I'm not really sure..... he climbed on her back and turned around and started messing with her head while he was all fluffed up

I'd keep the drake away from her till she is completely healed. Glad to hear she is eating and drinking on her own. I hope she is okay since the drake got to her.

They like to grab hold of their neck feather during mating but if she has a wound there best keep him away.

Well I guess that means time to build something new lol I don't really want babies right now I have 7 8 week old chicks I'm kinda over the baby thing at the moment.
