What color eggs do ur Muscovies lay also is this there first eggs or are they older ladies thanks

2 of my last year ducks are laying and one of my 2.5 yr olds. and their egg color can be beige to a olive tint also.

For blt79 my pekin females r loud not that I mind it but if that's a deal breaker I wouldn't go Pekin I also have a Rouen I do believe he was a rescue from a woman who was murdered so I can't exactly ask her but he just loves the pekins there 3 boys and 3 girls including him then I have Muscovies they get along just fjne but they definitely have there Seperate groups I wouldn't recommend get a Muscovy if u want to breed don't know from experience but from what I read if u breed a Muscovy to a water duck such as pekin or Rouen there babies will be sterile

I don't know for sure but i beleive I have seen others post their runners can lay green eggs. Those eggs are sure pretty too.

That looks like a Scovy egg but hard by pic, But I think Pekins lay a white egg don't they?
I found 2 Scovy eggs today while cleaning and both were frozen and cracked open.

I think they normally do lay white eggs but the woman I got them from said they were a kids classroom project the parents that is and there was mix one so it is possible they might all be mix but look like a pekin and also there was a couple blue eggs that thy hatched out of so maybe it's normal maybe they r a bit if a mix

Ok. Now to decide on pekin or Cayuga. Are the pekin females louder? They seem to be when I see them at shows. What age do ducks reach their sexual maturity? Thanks for help!

My cayugas are very quiet and my swedish is loud.
