Oh, Alice , I'm not really knowledgeable. I was just interested in Black Swedish ducks when I was looking for companions for a wild Mallard duckling I found. A friend of mine has a Rouen drake, and another friend has Khaki Campbell hens.

Well I looked up the black Swedish and they are adorable! I've just seen khaki Campbell's at the feed store and others have posted Rouen pics. I have two anconas and a Muscovy.

One hatched!!!! I woke up and my duck had just got out his leg was still in the shell he trying to walk around the other two are still trying

Precious!  I am so happy for Ebony.

Thanks. ebony is just starting to put weight on her foot again. After feeling her hip joints I believe she tore the back muscles that attach there. There is a big difference in feel between the working leg and bad leg. Almost a hollow where something should be but isn't. I hope that the muscle is still attached, just really stretched and will strengthen up again or Ebony may never walk properly again. It breaks my heart and makes me glad that Howard is no longer here where he can further injure her. The ducklings are doing great. They spend a lot of time with Ebony and she enjoys their company. I have seen her looking for them, it's very cute and sweet.

Is it normal for a duck to come out of the shell foot first

Not normal, I don't think. First you should hear the tapping, then you see the bill break thru.

He broke it with his beak and the his foot came out,

Well, give it some time. I'm thinking I guess it could be possible. I haven't seen it myself tho.
