My Shih Tzu loves our duck!!!

Thank you...you prove the point....it is an organization that profits from domestic "endangered species" that declares so.etching that is not a species as an endangered species....

Then I recommend you write them a note stateing your feelings on the matter. You might want to have someone proff read it for you to make sure it come off as non confrontational. Good luck with your letter!

Now that is adorable. I wish my dogs would cuddle the chickens, ducks, and geese. But most of my dogs would make a meal of them, and my Rottweiler, who loves to mother everything would squash them as she has no idea how big she really is. (its why her nickname is tank). So i have to keep my babies separated from each other.

Lol! My dog loves are ducks too! And the ducks are all over her. I try to make my dog back up but she inches back over and licks them and won't be more then a foot away from them when I take them outside. But I figure if she is right there when outside no cats or birds will try and grab them.

So if you are so concerned about "endangered" domestic ducks, why did you also get a Muscovy? Why are you not chastizing those who have an "endangered" domestic breed but cross them?

Clint, I don't really understand your problem, or why you are so concerned about what ducks others choose are best for them. For you informations all my ducks are girls. I got ducks that my research said would do well where I live and because I wanted duck eggs. I didn't choose a duck because it's endangered, but I do like all the ducks I have in my home. Others make the choice that is best for them for all kinds of reasons. I'm sorry you feel the need to "prove" you are right to me and others on here. No one is arguing with you or picking a fight. I simply stated facts. I'm sorry if you don't like them. I know you seem to like picking fight on forums and if that makes you happy I guess that's rather sad. I suggested you write a letter to those who can change classifications. I'm not that person.

Right before I took this picture, the dog wouldn't stop licking her. The duck just sat there and enjoyed the bath.
What kind of dog do you have?

We have a pound puppy. She's a lab mix. When I got are cat I could hold her in one hand and Ruby (are dog) LOVED her and opal (cat) would sleep on her. Ruby is nine now and has always been so gentle with anything smaller then her. I have a home daycare and the kids love Ruby and she loves them. We always have people telling us they will take Ruby if anything happens to us! Lol.

Problem is you are not stating "facts"...just quoting ....so what is the IUCN population that qualifies as "endangered"....you are just stating what makes you feel good.
