Lol don't you love duck pancakes?? They were not happy with me either because they had to go out in the cold snow while I refilled their feed in the shed. You would think they appreciate having FOOD but noooooooo

My guys will "sled" when I dare to have my dog move them and it's cold. They pancake on the snow and then propel themselves while still lying flat. Very funny to watch!

Aren't Pekin eggs white. My Muscovys lay a beige to khaki color eggs

Yup. What size are your eggs Miss Lydia? Muscovy Drakes are as big/bigger than Pekins but the girls are much smaller. My Pekin's eggs were always over 100g / 3.5 oz. None of my other ducks ever exceeded 90g / 3.2 oz.

I've never weighed them. I need to get a digital kitchen scale and see. Yep Pekin females are bigger than Muscovy females.

New to thread. I have had some wonderful help from some of you. Does anyone know what breed these ducklings are?? 1 is black and white and 1 is blue and white. I have Pekins and 2 unknown breed blue females.

Thank you. That was my thoughts. They are only 1/2. The only drake I have is a
Pekin.

They look a bit like Ancona ducks, but Swedish if you don't have any Anconas
