But my duck is hunched up when he is sitting please tell me why he is hunched up
@Hamza Saeed can you post a pic of what you mean by hunched up?

Molting is a process that can't be hurried they will go at their own pace. So be sure to give them good quality feed and some extra protein to bring in those feathers nice a healthy.[If they forage they maybe getting their own extra protein by eating bugs etc].

Check my last post pics and tell me my duck start molting or not
I believe someone told you your duckling is growing it's juvenile feathers in? which is probably so my 5 weeks old are doing the same their fuzz is coming out with new shiny feathers coming in. How old is your ducklings?
Tell me the dier which we give the duck.hunched up means he up his shoulder and up and down his tail whe he sitting
It could mean he is cold, or sick or he may just like to sit like this a picture of what he is doing would be good.

HELP!!!!! I had 7 mallard ducklings and over the weekend 3 of them mysteriously died. Last night there were 4, and this morning only two were still alive. I don't think it is predator related as they were all just found dead in the coop with no signs of injury. The two still alive are wobbly on their feet as if they don't have energy, and I'm worried they don't have much longer. They are fed Dumor chick starter and/or Dumor layer pellets and have plenty of water. I don't know what I'm doing wrong but I need help fast, I really enjoyed my flock. could this be an avian disease? Is their feed not appropriate? They are wild mallards that I hatched from eggs I found/rescued on a boat.

ETA they are no longer ducklings but in that in between teenager stage, almost done getting their adult feathers
