So up set. Its 7:10pm sitting outside with my flock. Taken pictures. I look to my right and to my surprise one of my girls dropped a egg less then a foot away from me and i missed it.

I've never seen a green duck egg.

Mallards can lay anything from cream, blue, blue-green and green... so color does pop up in mallard derived ducks... may also indicate a recent crossback, but not always...

Hey guys I'm in northern California and during the summer we are really warm. I usually put ducklings out at 4 weeks and they are fine. We are now almost in October and it's getting colder at night. Lower 50s. Should I wait longer this time to put them in their coop? Also my black swedish hen is now 22 weeks. Will she ever lay eggs lol?

this was before about 2 weeks ago and after soaking it in warm Epison salt every day since this is what it looks like today. I was able to remove the calus. It doesn't look like it would be bumblefoot as there was no puss or any foreign object in there. The leg is still pretty swollen. Any idea?

Anyone have a pic of a Rouen egg? I'm curious as to what my girls eggs will look like and I can't find a pic.
