Second try with the East Indie ducklings Thursday. Just got shipped out tonight. I ordered 10 pullets instead of the 8 packing peanut boys last time and have plenty of non poisonous food all ready. I am curious if anyone uses fermented feed for their ducklings. I use it with all of my adult birds and all of my chicks normally (helps with smell big time) not sure why but I feel like it wouldn't work with ducklings.
Well everyone home and doing great???

@yoopergirl1211 I use FF with all my birds from hatchlings on up, actually I think the littles do better on ff because it's moist.

Mom is Welsh Harlequin and drakes are Pekin and Mallard, both have been more than friendly with her if ya know what i mean.... maybe a full Mallard egg or two in there too. She is sitting on 21 eggs, haven't been able to candle but a few, DH did one egg at 18 days and it had good development, tried a few days later but it was too light out to see anything even in the building. Thursday or Friday should be hatch day!! Hopefully she will take to momma-ing!
