Duclair ducks are used for both meat and eggs. They are a cross between a mallard and a Swedish or mallard and a pekin duck. Females can lay around 90 eggs a year and are good mothers. They are also flighty and good foragers. They also have red meat instead of white meat like most farm poultry.
