Wow! That's a biggie! double yolker for sure.... I'll bet you can't even close the egg carton on it....I've had a few like that myself. Those eggs are a beautiful color--nice rich brown--by the way!

Thanks...and yummy too!

I feed them their layer pellets, scratch, oyster shells and grit. Plus they get table scraps at night...lots of local grown veggies and fruits, homemade bread, and they go nuts for the left over cooked oatmeal. They start squawking when they see me coming and fighting to get to the front of the fence...

I coop them at night, run in the day, and they also get let out to free range maybe once/day, but we have lots of bush and foxes and they tend to start to go into the bush and it's hard for me to get them out...plus they are getting harder and harder to catch.

Can't wait to crack it open and see...waiting for my girls to get home from school to show them.

Wow! Poor girl. Very pretty color eggs, I too would like to know what breed laid them.
