the [egg] wait is driving me crazy!!!

My White Leghorn is 31 weeks old today and still no egg from her. Her comb and wattles have gotten quite a bit bigger and redder in the past few days so I am hoping!

Here's a really bad pic of my 28 month white leghorn hen. Does she look remotely ready? Please?

Signs include spending time in the nest box, clucking oddly, squatting or staying down when a hand is put over her back, red comb, maybe floppy comb depending on breed, and getting mated by the rooster. Those are some of the ones I remember.

Well only got one egg today, no additional green ones. But there was a lot of nest activity. The rooster showed two of the ladies where the nest box was and AC & Bandit both spent time in them squawking what sounded like egg songs. So hopefully soon we will have some more layers.

wow, that egg is really green! very pretty!

I want colored eggs NOW! alas, my EE seems less likely to lay than my BLRWs at this point
